okay here comes the fun.
the hotel was called the nevele grand, we called it the shining meets resident evil. i totally forgot to take exterior pics of this place. it was HUGE and set up like an old college. a few main buildings, and then other odd buildings scattered around the campus. ALL OF WHICH ARE CONNECTED VIA HAUNTED TUNNELS
they owned a few hundred acres.
the catskills was a HOPPING community in the 30′s and 40′s. my girlfriend’s dad used to earn weekend cash as a drummer in the lobby bands back in the 40′s. its where EVERYONE from new york city used to go on vacation, and on weekends. its really a beautiful area but once air travel became viable, it turned into a ghost town. its all now owned by the jewish community.
on with the hotel adventure:
we were all so spooked of this place that we decided the only way to not be axe murdered by a ghost was to go out and find them. my friend brian probably has better pictures since he took 3 times as many but he’s been lacking at getting them to me.
inside:
we ventured downstairs to find the ping pong tables of torture. obviously someone was disembowelled on these

mini golf anyone?

random rooms
i can’t express to you how scary this place was at times.

then we went back to our room and crashed out. no spectator areas in the morning so we slept in and visited the first service which took place behind our hotel. (which is a great reason to stay there)
